Generation Life Registration 2016


Thousands of young people from the Archdiocese of St. Louis are once again traveling to Washington D.C. to participate in the March for Life! Join us for Generation Life 2016!

Similar to last year’s trip we are planning once again to have three different programming tracks! The tracks will be broken down, one for 8th grade students, one for high school students and one for young adults. We will have different programming spaces for each track but will all be in the same hotel, caravan together, and will have Mass together at the end of the trip.

This year we will be staying at the Crystal Gateway Marriott, 1700 Jefferson Davis Highway, Arlington, VA, 22202. The pilgrimage includes two nights in the hotel. This hotel is conveniently located near many restaurants in an underground mall - and a Metro stop.

Buses will depart from satellite locations on Wednesday, Jan. 20th around 5:00 PM (TBD). Each satellite location will have Generation Life volunteer present for registration.

Buses will arrive to the hotel on Thursday afternoon, January 21st. We will be hosting our night of programming at 7PM on Thursday evening. Programming will be in the hotel, and we will offer dinner for everyone beforehand. Our speaker for this night is national speaker John Foppe, who will share his story of being born without arms and how a person's worth does not depend on their ability, time or money. There will also be time to mix and mingle among each other.

Friday, January 22nd is the day of the March; we will have Mass at 9AM before the March with Bishop Rice. Groups will then head to the March; there is no programming on Friday evening. You are free to grab dinner or tour DC!

On Saturday, January 23th, we will check-out of the hotel in the morning and will have additional time to tour Washington DC before we gather at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception for Saturday Evening Vigil Mass. We will celebrate Mass at 7:00pm. After Mass we will load the buses to depart for St. Louis and return home Sunday morning, January 24th.

The cost of the trip is $250 per person. Registration includes a quad occupancy hotel room, bus and all programming. Food is not included, other than dinner on Thursday evening before programming. Single or double rooms may be available upon request, for an additional fee. Email stlya@archstl.org for details on other room options.

Registration will close Tuesday, December 1st (or earlier, if the trip is sold out). Final payment is due December 15th. We do expect this trip to sell out!

A $50 deposit is due to secure your spot within 10 days of registration. Checks should be sent to:

Again, we do expect this young adult track of Generation Life to sell out, so please register your group as soon as possible!
